There is a switching delay of 0.2 seconds between unsynchronised cameras.
With one additional cameras product number SYS-A2.
With two additional cameras product number SYS-A3.
Input
A trigger input is required to initiate
reading of the license plate.
Upon a trigger, the system will
perform an image capture , read the license plate and output the image
file and the LPR result file.
Output
There are two outputs:
i) image file, jpeg compressed 50k bytes
ii) LPR results file (License Plate Numbers),
256 bytes
The results may be output via
i) A Network File System (NFS) mounted
filesystem
ii) Remote File Copy (RCP)
iii) TCP sockets

Performance
Minimum of 95% accuracy for Singapore and
Malaysian front license plates with good image.
Recognises letters A to Z, 0 - 9.
Generally personalised, cursive or other
non-standard number plates will not be recognised.
Lane Coverage
Lane width of 2 metres for license plates that are centrally located.

IMPS Basic System Installation Notes
Lighting
For night or indoor operations, fail-safe
ambient artificial lighting (not supplied) will be required.
Minimum lighting of 800 lux is required
for stationary or slow moving (15kmh) vehicles.
Care must be taken that the lighting does
not shine directly into the drivers eyes.
The lighting must not be obstructed by
pedestrian or vehicular traffic.
Lighting must not be reflected directly
to the CCD camera.
Multiple source ambient lighting is preferred.

provided.
Depending on the environment, the value
added reseller would need to provide the appropriate mounting and housing
(enclosure).
